About Western Avenue
Ji-Su, a second generation of Korean-American, lives with her parents who run Kim's market on Western Avenue and brothers. Children discord with the parents' traditional way of thinking. Ji-Su gives up medical school and leaves for New York to be an actress. Though she lives with Stephen and study drama, she always misses her family. One day when Ji-Su presents her works, she experience Stephen's mean act. Then she tortures herself accepting strange cultures such as cocaine, free sex and body painting. After all Ji-Su comes back to her family in Western Avenue and the Rodney King incident that is a sign of storm takes place in front of them. Due to the result of trial, Black riots arise and the Western Avenue.......
