About Pure Love
After sent her lover to Tokyo for his study, Seok-Ran leads a hard life taking care of her sick mother with her poor pay as a department store's clerk. One day, she hears the rumor that her lover makes an engagement with a wealthy woman in Tokyo. Disappointed, she marries the manager of the department store and, before long her lover comes back. The rumor that he's engaged with a wealthy woman in Japan is the managers' trick to take her. In fact, he refused the wealthy woman'[s proposal only because of Seok-Ran. In the end, Seok-Ran expiates her foolishness with death.
