Bong-Shik, a honey collector, settles down at Ssari Teo where he happened to meet a shaman Seol-Hwa and her god daughter Dal-Yi while he is collecting hoeny. Seol-Hwa warns him that unless he exorcises an evil spirit, calamity will fall on him. But Bong-Shik ignores her warning because he is interested in just Dal-Yi. However as his bees suddenly die, he goes to Seol-Hwa. She entices him while Dal-Yi, too, makes love to him straightforwardly because of jealousy. Bong-Shik, who suffers from the trouble between two woman, finally determines to leave for somewhere to collect homey and Dal-Yi follows him in spite of Seol-Hwa's opposition. But Seol-Hwa dies in a sudden fire on the shrine therefore Dal-Yi comes back to be a shaman. Bong-Shik is on his way alone.....
