About Fire's Sun
A small port city near Sea of Japan. In this city Director Kamikajekumi who is the second generation of Kamikaje Special Unit, bullies petty fishermen, especially Koreans. A good-for-nothing guy Han Seung-Jeong, who gave up to enter a law school due to unbearable ethnic discrimination and prejudice, comes back to the port city where his father, a head of fishery's union, and family live. He spends his days in playing the guitar and singing in a sense of inferiority as a Chosenjing considering nationalization. One day he gets to know a Japanese girl Yuri. Seung-Jeong shares deep friendship with her not knowing she is the only daughter of Kamikajekumi. Seung-Jeong who loves Japan and Yuri who likes Korea. Conflicts between the two and their parents. Seung-Jeang implores kneeling down in front of the gang who tramples on his family. His father dies of heart attack lamenting his inability and his son's servility. Shocked by father's death, he bursts out anger about injustice and violence of Kamikajekumi...
