Lim Jin-Wu who married a daughter of his company chairman lives an unhappy life, but seeing Ji Sun-Ah, the country girl who is very simple and honest, he falls in love with her. Jin-Woo's wife drives Sun-Ah away, knowing she's pregnant. In her hometown, Sun-Ah bears a child, and gets infected with lung cancer. Six years later, Jin-Wu visits Sun-Ah, who dies saying 'Darling' to him.
