About Devoting the Youth
Bawu loves his master's daughter So-Ra who studies in Seoul and, finally, comes up to Seoul in search of her. By that time, So-Ra is leading a hard life for the sake of her lover Yong-Ku who is preparing to pass the high state examination. Bawu tries to help So-Ra but only to be taken to jail and Yong-Ku fails to pass the exam. Moreover, So-Ra is misunderstood by Yong-Ku and degraded to a hostess of a bar. Finally, So-Ra crosses the street drunken and is hit by a car. At the moment, Bawu just released from the jail takes her to the hill of their hometown.
