About Cho Ryu-Hyang
A spirited fellow Cho Ryu-Hyang is admired by many women such as Sangkwan Wanah, Cheong-Cheong, Bun-Bun, So-Ko. But, in fact, they are the killers dispatched by Sangkwan Ryeong of Seongkyo (a sort of heretical religion) who bears enmity against Cho Ryu-Hyang. Sangkwan Ryeong's daughter Sangkwan Wanah loves Cho Ryu-Hyang and rescues him whenever he is in danger, and Cho Ryu-Hyang too comes to love her. When Sangkwan Wanah is about to be executed on an altar for she violated the commandments of Seongkyo, Cho Ryu-Hyang sneaks into the den and watches the situation. Then, Sangkwan Wanah confesses that she is pregnant of Cho Ryu-Hyang's baby and thus changes Sangkwan Ryeong's mind.
