Jin-Ho goes to Paris to study and stays in the house of the painter Hwang. He is surprised because his lover, Hee-Jeong, changes her mind. She came to Paris before him. He runs away from the house of the painter Hwang in despair, because he degrades to a commercial painter. After that, he gets a job as a cleaner in a restaurant and confesses his love to the owner Mrs. Yun, but she does not accept his love. After that, Jin-Ho becomes a painter on a street in the Montmartre Hill. He becomes popular as a painter of a topknot and Korean traditional costume. When he holds an exhibition, Mr. Yoon gives him help. Therefore, he approaches to her again, but she rejects him. He makes up his mind to return to Korea, but he regrets for his rashness soon and decides to start a new life.
