About Invited Heroes
In 1849, Tomas Choi Yang-Yeob returns to his country and recalls the past because he got the order to collect the data on the martyr history of Kim Dae-Keon and to help his mother and sister. 15 years old Kim Dae-Kyeon, Choi Yang-Yeob, and Choi Bang-Je study theology in Macao regardless of all difficulties. They return to Chosun and devote themselves on missionary work permeated into the life of common peoble. Kim Dae-Keon is caught by the police in the course of engaging in Christian mission work and is executed. Choi finds Kim Dae-Keon's sister who's about to die and leaves the place the next day. Then, without responding to Park Il-Ku's witty talk, Choi falls down and dies of typhoid fever.
