About Village of Fire-Field Farmers
Jong-Seob and Deok-Ku are close friends living in Mt. Jiri as fire-field farmers. One day, Deok-Ku gets wounded in loins in the mountain in the course of searching for herb so, Jong-Seob sells part of the wild ginseng to cure him. But, Jong-Seob finds Deok-Ku's wife fallen down in forest losing her consciousness and rapes her. Later, when Deok-Ku take a trip to look for his brother, his wife gives birth to Jong-Seob's baby. When the bandit attacked them, Jong-Seob gives the rest of ginseng to the bandit in order to save his sister-in-law. Returned from his trip, Deok-Ku finds about wife's uncleanness and leaves the mountain and Jong-Seob's sister-in-law Jeom-Bok consoles Jong-Seob with her love.
