Su-Ran's and Dong-Wuk's fathers dig gold and tattoo the map on Su-Ran's and Dong-Wuk's backs with the promise of their marriage. Ma-Chu, who delivers the food, becomes to know the fact and informs Suzuki of it. Su-Ran's and Dong-Wuk's fathers are killed. Su-Ran escapes with the help of Du-Bo, a showman with physical strength. Suzuki runs away with Su-Ran and Dong-Wuk kidnapped by him but he is killed by Do-Bo. Do-Bo guides Su-Ran and Dong-Wuk to the cave of gold and leaves them.
