About 44th Street, New York
As Henry is chased by a suspicious fellow, he gives a game board to his Korean adopted daughter, Jane. Dong-Wuk takes the game board, helping Jane and bargains with Douglas, a dealer of antiques about the price of the game board. As there occurs a fight between them, he runs away with the help of Peggy but the game board is switched. Dong-Wuk is told the secret of the game board with the help of Peggy on the assumption that he loves her but he abandons her and goes to Jane. After he is told from Jane that money is buried in Henry's grave, he abandons Jane again. With regret, he seeks for Jane but she is kidnapped. Dong-Wuk saves Jane and promises to go to Korea and fights with James and Douglas. James is killed by Douglas, Douglas by Dong-Wuk, and Dong-Wuk by Peggy.
