About Ali-Reza Davudnezhad
Born in 1953 in Tehran. He started his film career as a script-writer. His first script. The Thirst was turned into a feature when he was studying at high school. He directed his first feature film The Artery at 20 and he enjoyed a cast of the top actors of the time. Sweet Agony is his latest feature, whose cast consists of his family members. This film received the Jury Special Award and Best Supporting Actress at the 17th Fajr Film Festival.
