About Alimony
Hyeong-Du, a professor of liberal arts, lives happily with his wife Young-Ran even if he has no child yet, but he accidently causes some misunderstanding from Young-Ran about his relationship with his associate Hyeon-Ju. Young-Ran demands a divorce and alimony, but Hyeong-Du, not being able to receive the ownership document to his house from his friend, borrows money from Hyeon-Ju. That causes bigger misunderstanding than before from Young-Ran, who gets to know that she's pregnant Hyeon-Ju's aunt accuses Hyeong-Du of not paying back money, which results in his being put in jail. His friend Ji tells Young-Ran all about this. Young-Ran guilty of what she's done to her husband, happen to trip over the stairs. Giving birth to a premature nine-month baby, she asks Hyeon-Ju to take care of her husband, and dies.
