Joo Won-Ja can't give a birth to a son who will be heir of the family because of uterine cancer. She asks her husband Ko Dae-Wuk to get a concubine. But when her husband comes with a Chinese girl called Jin, she is hurt. Joo Won-Ja is pressed to divorce by Kang Do-Seog, a doctor. Once there was an offer of marriage between them. Jin delivers a son, and Ko Dae-Wuk and his father-in-law put all of his property under the name of Kang Do-Sung to lead Joo Won-Ja to marry the doctor. But Kang is blind with Ko's fortune so he told a lie that Joo Won-Ja has a cancer. After all Joo kills the doctor. While she is in jail, Ko Dae-Wuk waits for her with his daughter, Eun-yi.
