About Royal Emissary with No ID, The
During Chosun dynasty there was a bad magistrate who tormented his people in the village, imposing heavy taxes on them. One day, as Cho Seung-Kuk, an upper class man, and Heo-Dal, a middle class man come to the village, the suffering peoble welcome them, taking them for royal emissaries. Afraid that the royal emissaries might arrest them, the magistrate and his officials get very anxious. Heo-Dal feigns to be a real royal emissary, and tell the officials not to torment the village people. Cho Seung-Kuk falls in love with the magistrate's daughter Yeon-Yi to whom he tells the truth about the emissary thing. The magistrate overhears this, and orders to decapitate the fake emissaries. But some official from Hangyang tells that Cho Seung-Kuk is a royal prince who now gets reinstated to his position. The royal prince forgives the magistrate and leaves with Yeon-Yi.
