About Joy
Ji-Hye is a lonely orphan who doesn't know even her parents' name and lives on an old man's favor. She acted as a guide of the old man when she was a little, Ji-Hye gets to manage the old man's home affairs as her body is getting mature day by day. The villagers including police officer Jeong are off their heads about her beauty running at the mouth, though none of them carries out his aim. One day Ji-Hye is detected by Su-Dol while she steals fish and since then they fall in love with each other. Then an independence army soldier is caught by Japanese police. During torturing the soldier, they find that the old man supports the independence army. Soon order of arrest him begins to work and Ji-Hye came to be taken with the old man.
