Young-Ja comes to Seoul to make money for her sister's education, and gets a job as a hostess in a night club with the help of Myeong-Shik. Young-Ja who is very beautiful becomes very popular among her clients, but she gets to love Myeong-Shik who is sexually impotent. He lost his maleness during the Korean War. Young-Ja's sister gets to know her sister's working in a night club, and says she doesn't want to continue her study. Myeong-Shik persuades her to understand Young-Ja's situation. The sisters get to understand each other and start a new life.
