About Rainbow Over the Island
Kim Seon-Tae is a teacher who volunteered to teach on the remote island of Soja in the South Sea for the children living there. He works hard for the people who don't know how to make their lives more prosperous, but Ku, a powerful man who owns many fishing ships, intrigues against Seon-Tae who gets expelled from the island. Despite that, the teacher's hard and strenuous efforts result in Ku's being persuaded to cooperate in building the more prosperous island. But Seon-Tae dies the day when the new building for the village people is completed.
