About Affection
The director of a girl school raises Jeong-Nim who is a daughter of his friend and his pupil. The affection between him and Jeong-Nim develops a great love. His wife and daughter, who are jealous of their love, let him retire from the director, while Jeong-Nim is studying in Japan. He says goodbye to Jeong-Nim and leaves for Manchuria. He lies in his sickbed after he has wandered in the snowy field regretting his unrealized love. When Jeong-Nim hears of it, she runs to him in a hurry, but he ends his regretful life in the end.
