Kim Man-Ho, an owner of leading draper at Pyongyang, has been greatly affected by new legislation of international trade law of the Japanese ruler. Being stricken with agony, Kim visits Hwang Seok-Du, who has nick name of "Naked foot", to explain the circumstances and ask him to carry the draperies. Hwang carries the draperies making the Japanese police not to be aware of it. Hwang enters a middle school, but is forced to leave the school by Masayoshi, a leader of judo team. Later, he gets married. Before he spends first night after getting married, he is forced to flee to Manchuria on the charge of beating Masa Yoji who had bothered him. Hwang rescues a woman, who has been fallen into the difficulties, but she leaves the place leaving her baby. Hwang wanders at Manchuria and Shanghai looking for the abandoned baby's mother. He is surprised at watching a scene that the baby's mother becomes a Japanese rich man's concubine to take off a horse carriage.
