Myeong-Ja leaves the house in order to earn money and to live well, but after abandoned by a man, who works in a factory, she degrades to a pickpocket out of despair. She approaches to Wu-Sik and with him goes to the party that is held at the house of Yang, the chairman of a business group. Myeong-Ja takes a big money from Yang by threatening him that his son has raped her. Myeong-Ja goes to a hotel to tempt man, but encounters with Wu-Sik there. On her way of running away from him, Han saves her. She intends to realize her dream through Yang but she is diagnosed as limited life with brain tumor. In spite of Han's efforts and her painful outcries of want to live, she dies in the end.
