About Sunset Glow at the Sarbin River
In the Pacific War during World War Two, a Korean youth, who has changed his name to "Matzodo" in Japanese style, is sympathized with Japanese militarism to enter into student army voluntarily and give military service at Burmese front line. In spite of the advice of Korean student soldiers, he does not regret his wrong doings. He becomes acquainted with a female member of Burmese guerilla unit, whose name is "Furasen", through whom he can understand sorrow and grief of suppressed nation. At last, he fights against the Japanese Army with rifles and joins in the Burmese independence movement and greets the independence of Korea and Burma.
