About Shanghai Blues
Breaking off the life of scoundrel, Il-Su becomes a priest. He rescues Nan-Hee fallen on the street and begins to look for the man who deserted her. Unexpectedly, the man is Il-Su's brother Hyeon. A scoundrel Hyeon is in connection with the boss Baek-Ho's mistress. Il-Su tries to guide the brother but it only provokes his resistance. Finally, Hyeon and Baek-Ho come to fisticuffs and Il-Su is shot while he is trying to stop the fight. Only then, Hyeon regrets his fault and carries his dying brother to the Catholic Church.
