About Grass Tombs
So-Dal, a fisher in an island, who was imprisoned due to the murder of his friend 5 years ago, gets a special grant for a seven days leave for his mother's funeral with a guard. Then, there suddenly appears a corpse sunken 5 years ago, which makes seaweed rotten. And the villagers think that this evil omen is due to So-Dal. Seeing So-Dal's awkward situation, the guard starts the investigation. There is a conflict between the young villagers who want to go to the mainland and the shaman who is a spiritual dominator of the villagers and tries to develop the island as a tourist site, and the old who try to protect the island and the grass tombs. As the guard notifies the authorities of the shaman's impurities, she falls from the high cliff into the deep sea and dies. Only So-Dal's couShin Im-Ja guards the island taking So-Dal's place.
