About Fishermen's Exorcism
At the village called "Muldori dong" at seacoast, Musinsaeng, a widow goddess, is served as main god. When the son of the village's governor dies, the mountain keeper is forced to hold a fishermen's exorcism to wish wellbeing of the dead boy's spirit and rationalize the marriage between the dead and the one who is still alive. The mountain keeper declines the governor's request because the fishermen's exorcism should be held once a ten years according to the god's will so that it cannot be held without the god's will. However, the exorcism is held, while Huh, the governor's illegitimate son, feels fated love toward Bu-Yong who gets married to the dead. Bu-Yong, who laments her ill fortune, is raped by a fisherman with butcher mask. The holy butcher mask is burnt to destroy the village. Heo is given the instruction to make a holy mask from the god.
