About Hwangbi
On his way to Shanghai, a scholar Hwang-Bi saves a young man called Sa-Ja who is at death's door due to a fight with Japanese. Sa-Ja is a rough guy but he is deeply impressed Hwang-Bi's gentle personality. So he pledges to be Hwang's pupil and follows him to Shanghai. At that time a Japanese named Mi-Ryong organizes a violent gang to exploit Korean workers in Shanghai pier. Hwang-Bi and his men fight against Japanese violence and exploitation to make Shanghai pier in peace and start their voyage.
