About Cattle
Kuk-Seo's first son Mal-Tong is unsatisfied with his father who lowers himself to Sa-Eum because he tenants Sa-Eum's farm. Kuk-Seo's second son Kae-Tong misses Choch-Sun who was sold to Seoul but makes an effort for the reclamation work. Sa-Eum asks Kwi-Chan, Mal-Tong's fiancee, to become his concubine and calls up a debt to Kuk-Seo. By selling the last bull, Kuk-Seo wants to accomplish Mal-Tong's marriage but Mal-Tong raises a disturbance, selling cattle secretly.
