About Kan-Nan
Kan-Nan is a native country girl. One day, she finds wild ginseng and goes up to Seoul. Wandering about in Mt. Nam, Kan-Nan and Mr. Bok meet a swindler but are safe with the help of Dol-Soe. With the promise to meet one moth later in the country, Kan-Nan and Mr. Bok leave for selling the wild ginseng. On the way they visit Dong-In they met in the train. Dong-In's family likes her due to her naivetes and Dong-In proposes a marriage to her, knowing that Dol-Soe is married. Kan-Nan, however, gives the money from the sold ginseng to Ku-Shik, who works in an inn and defended the ginseng, and returns home.
