Introduction

Storyline

Lady Cho leads a double life. On the surface, she is a model nobleman's wife, while she enjoys discreet sexual conquests on the side. Cho-won rebels against expectations to reject a government post and indulge in hedonistic pleasures of women and idle entertainment. The objects of each other's first love in secret, the two become co-conspirators in a dangerous game of love and intrigue. One day, Lady Cho suggests that Cho-won deflower young Soh-ok, who will become her husband's concubine. However, Cho-won is preoccupied with Lady Jung, who is so famed for her chastity and devotion to her late husband that she is awarded a Gate of Chastity by the government. Only when Lady Cho offers herself as the prize does Cho-won accept her bet.....
