About Near in Distance, but Far to Reach
On the way to home after finishing sisterhood relation with the students at a remote island, In-Cheol, the 5th grade student at primary school, is lost owing to vessel's wreckage to be floated toward northern military border line. He meets a North Korean boy named Dong-Man who is as old as he is, and collects waste steel. Both boys have lived under different circumstance, so that they feel difficult to communicate each other. Dong-Man, who is innocent, becomes impressed by In-Cheol's beautiful world, so that he crosses over border to the South Korea. While escaping, Dong-Man is killed with rifles by the North Korean soldiers.
