About Female Shaman's Bow
After Eorin Nyeoni, or a female shaman at Changseongpo city, dies, Wang-Nyeon, who has gotten married to her son named Ok-su, inherits the shaman. Ok-Su wanted to work as a fisherman, but works as a bowman for her wife (shaman) according to his mother's dying wish. Pan-Su is a shipowner and vicious usury man, and attempts to lure Wang-Nyeon and bothers her husband. Wang-Nyeon buys a boat for her husband, while her husband dies when he rescues a boat in spite of rough wind and wave, which is plotted by Pan-Su. Wang-Nyeon thinks that her ill fate has been caused by Pan-Su. When a festival shaman ritual is held to celebrate bumper fishing and thus reach the highest festival mood, Wang-Nyeon shoots arrow with shaman's bow against Pan-Su.
