About Rose with Thorn, A
Jang-Mi (Rose), a college student girl, is separated from her lover named Kyu-Shik. At her childhood, she lived difficult life in the US Army base town and had not been loved by her father owing to his stubborn nature. On the way to Pusan city, she loves a middle aged man, but gives up the love because he has wife and children. She is unable to find out true love and becomes a barmaid. One day, she is blamed by Kyu-Shik, a previous lover, so that she takes sleeping medicine excessively. She is put in psychiatric ward where she loves a youth named Se-Ho. She wants to get married to him, but cannot realize her dream because of her personal history of a barmaid in the past.
