About Fire for Cleaning Hatred
Kim Seung-Il, who majored in folklore, goes to a village near a beautiful estuary to collect folklore data during vacation. One day he makes an acquaintance with an only daughter of conglomerate in Seoul, Hyeon-A while he is riding motorcycle on the shore of water on deep foggy day. They meet again and feel love each other on the day the villagers perform an ancestral sacrifice called the Fire for cleaning hatred(Ssit Gim Bul). But Hyeon-A realizes that not long after she would die and goes up to Seoul. Seung-Il also goes there looking for her. Hyeon-A doesn't say anything to Seung-Il not to make him hurt. Seung-Il is seriously injured from a motorcycle rally. Hyeon-A takes care of him to recover from injury but later Hyeon-A dies.
