About Chun-Hyang Story
Lee Mong-Ryong, a son of local magistrate, loses his heart to Chun-Hyang, a daughter of retired hostess, who was riding on a swing in Kwanghannu Park of Namwon in Cholla Province. They fall in love with each other, but Mong-Ryong leaves Namwon to follow his father who was appointed to higher office in Han Yang. Byeon Hak-Do, a new magistrate of Namwon demands that Chun-Hyang sleep with him, but she refuses despite Byun's harsh torture. Byeon decides to kill Chun-Hyang, but Mong-Ryong who won the first place in the state examination comes as a royal emissary to arrest the atrocious official Byun, and marries Chun-Hyang.
