About Pretty Romance
Comic artist Jeong Bae whose works constantly get turned down because of their lousy storylines is desperately in need of 50 million won to save a portrait that he treasures as his own mother. One day, he comes across a competition for adult comic which offers prize money of 100 million won. Taking a friend¡¯s advice, Bae decides to hire a story writer to work hand in hand for the competition.
Da-rim is a sex columnist who is hired to write columns by summarizing contents from theses and surveys. She has no experience when it comes to men but driven by unstoppable imagination, she writes her own column and subsequently gets fired. She comes across Jeong Bae while on job search and attracted by the prize money, she decides to team up with him.
The partnership takes off to a rocky start from the very beginning with Jeong Bae insisting on incorporating philosophical themes into adult content and Da-rim believing that comics are all about being fun. Will the completely different two people be able to work together and finish the project in time?
