About Papa
Park Yong Woo (Handphone, Children...) is the eponymous Papa in this heartwarming movie about makeshift families and star-making dreams. Directed by Han Ji Seung (Venus and Mars), the film brings together a multicultural cast of kids for our fish-out-of-water father, with popular actress Go Ara (Pacemaker) starring as the eldest daughter.
Talent manager Choon Seob (Park Yong Woo) decides to try his luck in America after his client runs off. He enters a fake marriage in order to attain legal residency, and finds himself the unwitting father of a large multicultural family when his wife passes away. Out of his six children, his daughter June (Go Ah ra) has a talent for singing, so he decides to train her into a star.
