About Eternal Empire, The
During Chosun Dynasty of 18th century. The power struggle between the king and the subjects was intensive. Jang Jong-Oh dies mysteriously while he arranges books king Young Jo's dynasty under King Jeong Jo's order. The king orders Shim Hwan-Ji, leader of Noron Party, to investigate the accident as he gets report from Lee In-Mong while he ordered Lee to find out a book titled 'Si Kyeong Cheon Kyeon Rok'. Hearing the cause of Jang Jong-Oh's death, King Jeong Jo presses down Seo In-Seong, chief of eunuchs.
